Child Welfare

Rothbury Golf Club is committed to ensuring that the game of golf is one within which all children and young people involved can have fun, thrive and flourish in a safe environment.  In order to promote a positive experience and support the well being of all young people, the club is proud to be SafeGolf accredited.

Everyone working with children on regular basis will have had a DBS check and all staff, volunteers, parents and children will be asked to adhere to the robust protocols identified in the clubs Codes of Conduct.

Membership

Our membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December and anyone who is under 19 on the 1st January in any year is eligible for junior membership for the year.

You can download a membership application form here  or call into the clubhouse and fill one in.

 The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is open to all visitors, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Yvonne's Cakes & Catering -  Coffee Shop and Café - Serving artisan cakes, hot and cold food and specialty tees, coffee's & milkshakes.

Rothbury Golf Club is open only to those without symptoms of COVID-19:

  • anyone with any symptoms of COVID-19 should not enter any part of the course or clubhouse
  • anyone from a household with someone with any symptoms of COVID-19 should not enter any part of the course or clubhouse

Please follow signage and protocols provided to you by any of our employees.

Visiting Parties

The person making the reservation agrees  to take  responsibility for the actions of the group:

  • Ensuring everyone in the group is in good health before starting.
  • Booking the tee time, ensuring all players' names are reserved, and making any changes to the booking.
  • Checking in at the Clubhouse prior to teeing off
  • Ensure the group tees off at their reserved time. Not before or after.
  • Ensuring that the group abides by the Clubs rules.
