An Adult/Junior competition was scheduled for 8 August but due to clashes with other comppetitions for adult members, the format has changed. Every year there is a trophy for the most improved player of the season. So that we can formally measure immprovement, we propose to provide an opportunity for juniors to play 9 holes and submit a card. Another event will be planned for later in the season.Watch out for the list going up in the Junior room. All blue tee players must be accompanied by an adult.
Due to a clash of fixtures at the venue, the Young Junior outing which was scheduled for Monday 28 July has been rescheduled for Monday 4 August. The venue this year will be Burgham Park Golf Club, Near Felton, Morpeth, NE65 9QP. The day starts at 10.00am and finishes with a lunch time meal in the Clubhouse. The cost of the day is �5 per head which includes a child�s meal but you�ll need to make your own travel arrangements and you must be accompanied by an adult. There will be some competition prizes on the day. If you would like to go, please put your name down on the list in the Junior room. Stephanie
Following the cancellation of the monthly medal on Monday 7 July due to bad weather, the competition has been rescheduled on Monday 21 July. Please make sure you have put your name on the list which is on the Junior notice board.
Lists are now up so please add your name if you wish to play. The rules for this competition are displayed on the sheet. If you wish to play with someone in particular, please make sure your name is written alongside the same time tee-time as the adult list. The competition is open to adult members who have a club congu handicap and juniors who have a club or congu handicap.
There is now a special menu for our Juniors on a Monday Clubnight. For ?2.50 you can get (with chips) pizza, burgers, sausages, chicken nuggets and more! You can also choose a child's portion from the main menu. These meals are available at this special price from after school throughout the evening. Why not have your tea before meeting your group leader or afterwards at 7pm?See you Monday!Stephanie
